Flight cancelled and was told by a rude gate agent that they don’t accommodate on other airlines. Had to wait 5 hours for a connecting flight that had a 7 hour layover. Would not allow bags to be checked early so we couldn’t go through security .Had to rent a car for the afternoon to store bags and get a meal. No apology or reason given for the cancellation- just rudeness.

No worries but some how I missed it. The customer service was excellent! Check-in, baggage check-in, boarding, the flight went very smooth. All parts were excellent, especially staff at bag tag printing and inflight crew. Just the normal differences from past air travel could be improved but we’ve learned to accept those—cramped seats, minimal food/beverage, etc.
Charlotte airport is miserable. For American I always have to connect from the end of terminal E to the end of terminal B and the stupid moving walkways are always broken. And the flights to all seem of least importance so they never leave on time in either direction.

Flight was to arrive at midnight and it arrive at 3 am. A 3 hour delay is already bad but one that has you arriving in the wee hour is just disruptive and overall unacceptable. The complete lack of restitution is a joke in keeping with Spirit’s reputation of ranking bottom-low in the pecking order. I would not recommend this company. I will never consider SPIRIT as an airline . Generally good but we were delayed almost two hours from the original time of purchase. The pilot claimed an internal issue then an external equipment issue that needed to be adddressed.
